US Coast Guard retiree, Gordon Eager, the first "eager beaver", founded Beaver Flags in 1950 in St. Petersburg, FL not far from its current location. His initial focus was to provide sailors in and around St. Petersburg with high quality, custom made in the USA yacht flags. The St. Pete Yacht Club burgee, pictured left, was one of the first hand sewn applique flags produced. Gordon, used his nickname for the company name and it has been synonymous with hand made quality flags for decades. For forty years the Eager Beavers' family enjoyed their successful flag business until the Krampert family took over and managed the Beaver Flags' helm for several decades, expanding the products offered while maintaining strong customer support. Now, VB Group, Inc., a family owned company that has 25 years experience in providing online retail services, takes the helm, with a positive promise to continue the exceptional traditions of Beaver Flags for decades to come.
Beaver Flags' products fly all over the world, proudly displayed on million dollar yachts and fast 20 footers, over the Pentagon and on walls in the BVI, high over car lots and most importantly, in the front and back yards of patriotic Americans all over this land.
